JobTitle Electronics/Electrical Test Engineer
JobDescription Immediate contract opportunities for experienced test engineers for a project to run for 6 onths + for manufacturing/production company based south of Bristol. To Test Electronic complex electronic Assemblies
• Ensuring all aspects of production is carried out in accordance with company procedures relating to HSE and relevant quality Codes of Practice.
• Ensure Work Order documentation is correct and completed to date
before, during and on completion of the Test process.
• Ensure safe working practices are adhered to at all times and general
housekeeping is maintained to a high standard.
• To provide the verification and sign off of process generated documentation related to the manufacture of subsea controls and ancillary equipment, in order to ensure that all the planned and specified requirements have been satisfactorily undertaken.
• To report defects appropriately and in a timely manner.
• To carry out product and process surveillance, including the liaison with manufacturing personnel to ensure that any problems identified and recorded are dealt with effectively.
• To raise rejection records related to product build problems.
• To carry out ESS testing.
• To contribute to departmental improvement initiatives.
• Mechanical Assembly of and Pressure testing of Final Electronics Modules.

Deliverables:
• Test Assemblies as required by the schedule
• Raise non conformances on request.
• Timely verification and release of equipment on request.
• Daily support for queries and clarifications requested.
JobRequirements Qualifications:
• ONC Electronics + 5 years experience
• HNC Electronics + 5 years experience


Experience:
• Ability to Test and fault find Electronic Assemblies
• Ability to Test Printed Circuit boards and fault find to component level
• Ability to follow Procedures and circuit diagrams

Desired:
• Proven track record in test and fault finding of Electrical Assemblies
• Ability to Read electronic schematics and mechanical schematics.
• Good working knowledge of software. And PC applications.
• Communicates effectively at appropriate levels in the organisation
and responds appropriately to feedback.
• Able to contribute to a team, either as part of the team, or as a leader.
• Cooperates to assist team members and ensure team meets its goals.
• Recognises the importance of diversity and promotes a climate of collaboration.

Shift Patterns at present are:

Early Shift:

Mon-Thursday 6:30 to 14:15
Fri 6:30 to 15:30

Late Shift:

Mon- Wed 14:00 to 00:00
Thur 14:00 to 23:30
No Late shift Friday
On site parking.
