| JobDescription | Experienced document controller / technical authors required until the end of October '10 to be based within engineering/manufacturing company south of Bristol, possible permanent opportunity to follow: Experience: • Extensive compilation, verification and management of documentation against the requirements of an ISO Quality Management System • Excellent PC Skills, to include MS Word, MS Excel , PowerPoint, Access and Adobe Acrobat Writer • Problem Solving Purpose: To provide documentation packages in accordance with customer requirements. Responsibilities: • To liaise with Document Facilitation Lead in establishing the customer requirements. • To ensure that such packages are delivered in a timely manner and that the quality of presentation and legibility is satisfactory and in accordance with requirements. • To contribute to departmental improvement initiatives. • To provide mentoring and support for other team members, if appropriate. • To attend MRB meetings and provide updated record for communication of status and performance to management. • To ensure that documents in the databook area are handled and stored to prevent their loss, damage or deterioration. Deliverables: • Produce MRB/MCD’s. • Daily update of MRB/MCD status. • Weekly attendance of status update meetings. • Daily support for queries and clarifications requested. |
