| JobDescription | Role Summary/Purpose: Our clients customers are requiring them to perform more and more Systems Engineering Study Work to support them in their decision making in regard to future field development plans and the sustainability of existing install base. We are forming a dedicated Systems Engineering team to ensure exact focus on our customers need so that we can respond with par excellence technical solutions with paired responsiveness and scheduled delivery. Essential Responsibilities Role: To take clients specified work scope and respond technically, in full, formally to it, with par excellence technical solutions. The role encompasses that detailed below requiring full ‘cradle to the grave’ ownership. Typical Responsibilities: Full Review And Understanding of The Technical Scope, Requirements And Specifications. Delivery Of The ‘Best In Class’ Technical Response To The Clients Requirements : Typically System Specification and Drawings Creation Of A Technical Risk Register, TRL ( Tech Readiness Level ) Matrix, Gap Analysis Matrix. Creation of Defined Work Packages Where Specialist Support Is Required eg Communications Analysis Conducting Systems Level Design Review For Peer Group Review And Critique. Working With Specialist Engineers Typically Reliability, Hydraulic and Electrical Analysis To Support Solution Delivery Working With Associated Systems Engineers, Tree’s and Manifolds To Support Solution Delivery. Participation In Risk Review Committees Sanctioning The Release Of The Study. Participating In Monthly Update Meetings / Telecons On Study Contributing To And Reporting Progress Against Plan. Representation, Report Writing and Presentation On Subject As Required Internally And Direct to the Client Key Working Relationships: The Customer ‘Peer ‘ Engineers Engineering Services Manager Discipline Engineering Management |
| JobRequirements | Qualifications/Requirements Experience: A strong degree of Pressure Control System Engineering Experience, Ideally A Mix Of Project Execution And Feed Studies. Particular Skills / Experience / Training / Person Type: Production Control Systems Workover Control Systems Highly Flexible Individual Who Is Able To Travel Globally At Short Notice Must be Able To Hold Face To Face ‘Level Playing Field’ Conversation With The Customer. Self Motivated. Pro Active. Excellent Time Management Skills. Active Listening Skills. Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills. IT Articulate : Word / Excel / PowerPoint Very Personable. Able To Work Cross Position / Dept Within An Engineering Environment. Able to accommodate International Travel when necessary Education / Experience - it would normally be expected that the successful candidate: Is educated as a minimum to degree level in an engineering subject. Desired Characteristics: Offshore Certified Based with easy access from Bristol and the M5.
