| JobDescription | The role of the successful candidate will be to ensure that materials are managed from receipt through to issue. This is a 6 months rolling contract working in a team located south of Bristol, easy access off the M5. Will be very experienced in warehouse activities, in particular familiar with checking of detailed paperwork and a detailed understanding with serial number control for full traceability of parts. Dealing with internal customers and is self motivated and managed. Experienced with Environmental, Health and safety processes within an industrial stores environment: KEY TASKS • Checking documentation that accompanies incoming material • Visually inspect material, and pack where applicable, to ensure consignments are not damaged. • Unload vehicles using a Forklift truck. • Raise manual incoming goods vouchers. • Safe handling and storage of hazardous substances. • Transporting complete kits of work order material. • Receiving defective material from Manufacturing and for transferring it to Warehouse MRB. • Receiving MOW items from Manufacturing and for storing in accordance with system set primary locations. • Storing material in accordance with system set primary locations using Flexi Forklift. • Counting inventory and ensuring accurate status |
| JobRequirements | QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTERISTICS • Must be computer literate with basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. • Shall preferably have experience in the use of MRP-based systems. • Must have Flexi Forklift driving license. • Must be capable of prioritising and multi-tasking, and working to agreed schedules. • Must be self-motivated, and be capable of working within a group or individually and have a flexible approach to the workload • Working a rotating shift pattern 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 12 (no late shift on a Friday).
