| JobDescription | Immedaite start for long term 12month + contract. Excellent opportunity for experienced administrator with strong knowledge of Excel ideally from an engineering/manufacturing background. Will need to multitask and manage a number of projects and demands Any previous experience of MS Project or AutoCAD is highly desirable. The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Engineering Support Group Manager in providing a service to the Engineering department with respect to tasks listed below. Maintenance of holiday spreadsheet records for engineering. Expediting timesheets on a weekly basis. Maintenance of Engineering page on company Intranet site. Organising Training Courses for the department. Distribution of post on a daily basis. Maintenance of department Competency Matrix. Arranging offshore training and medicals when required and ensuring re-booking before expiry of current certificates. Archiving for the department on a regular basis. Ordering stationery once a month/as necessary. Maintenance of Codes of Practice and Procedure Instructions using MSWord. To include revision updates and maintenance on ePIMs. Maintenance of MSWord document templates using Macro's & Visual Basic language. Maintenance of register of Design Application Software licenses for the Engineering department. Maintenance of Technical Library and purchase of specifications and books as required. Maintain a consistent approach to the operation of ePIMs (the company Product Information Management System). Data loading to ePIMs as required. Act as point of contact during holiday periods to support ePIMs issues at both company sites. Creation of System Bills of Material and System Schematic diagrams for the Projects group. This activity will involve the use of ePIMs, AutoCAD and/or Microsoft Visio. Qualifications: Must have good working knowledge of MS Office applications (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Ability to communicate at all levels across all disciplines using both written and verbal English. Working knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD or Visio would be highly desirable Must have proven PC Skills Must be self-motivated and able to work both individually and as part of a team. Must be able to plan and accommodate varying workloads and flexible in the approach to the tasks stated above. Must be prepared to take on additional responsibilities due to the developing nature of Engineering Services. |
