SharePoint Analyst - Nr Bristol

Job Description

3-month SharePoint Analyst contract just north of Bristol with easy M5 access.  Will be experienced in SharePoint 2103, Nintex workflow plus working with users to migrate functionality, content and styling.  Must hold current security clearance plus a full driving licence.

Role:
• Delivery of the SharePoint service and configuration working with the 3rd party suppliers to ensure continuous service
• Ensure you develop personal and technical skills to ensure constant delivery of high quality services for SharePoint
• You will be a subject matter expert in SharePoint providing guidance across the stakeholder community
• Implementation of SharePoint workflow development and processes
• Engage with both agreed suppliers and business users using agreed processes
• Ensure SharePoint services are delivered within agreed SLA timescales
• Attend meetings when required with relevant 3rd parties
• Be aware of any costs that are incurred and ensure the budget holder has agreed to cost
• Ensure delivery of good customer service through delivery of consistent, well documented, configuration of agreed SharePoint solutions

Main Tasks:
• Control the configuration of SharePoint and ensure the installation is correctly managed by the 3rd party suppliers where applicable
• Complete all 2nd and 3rd line support issues/problems for SharePoint to agreed SLAs
• Ensure any configurations and development work is completed and tested within agreed timescales and delivered to the agreed standards
• Configuration and creation of appropriate workflows using SharePoint Apps following the agreed development practices including full documentation and system testing
• Help business users to exploit new functionality within the system in a controlled and measured way using the PMO processes
• Ensure requirements are agreed with the stakeholder community and delivered in line with PMO standards and processes
• Ensure project scopes and requirements do not dilute or deviate from the agreed strategy
• Support the business application with further information to support client relationships and provide information to resolve issues with Suppliers
• Ensure consistent application and systems documentation is updated when projects and smaller changes are implemented
• Actively promote measures to be implemented to improve process documentation
• Identify and suggest existing or new emerging standards and best practice for the applications team
• Ensure any costs incurred are for an agreed project or existing budgeted SLA
• Ensure all technical decisions taken are commercially aware and are inline with IT strategies
• Manage your time to deliver activities to agreed timescales for new business, new contracts and mobilisations
• Ensure you meet regularly with your line manager and complete the PDP process throughout the year
• Manage your time to deliver to agreed timescales your activity for agreed projects
• All solutions delivered should be to an agreed standard using agreed industry methodologies and have measurable benefits that can be tracked
• Ensure all work carried out is either within an agreed SLA or Project sanctioned by the PMO
• Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times

Experience:
• Managing SharePoint 2013 or 2010 functionality
• Nintex and other SharePoint Apps 
• Working in a challenging and complex organisation and demonstrable experience of delivering business and technical change
• Ensure you deliver a commercially aware service that is customer focussed
• Good experience of understanding and writing business requirements, specification writing and delivery of technical solutions to an agreed standard
• Experience delivering solutions to an agreed standard using agreed industry methodologies
• Proven experience working in a small team delivering technical solutions to business requirements
• Experience of working with internal and external suppliers to ensure specified SLAs are met
• Ability to deal with and manage conflict whilst building successful business relationships across a range of stakeholder groups
• Resolution of SharePoint issues and problems
• Strong experience of delivering SharePoint solutions for the business using enterprise content management, document management, Nintex workflow, self service reports, HTML, CSS,
• ITIL Foundation
• A full driving licence
• SC Clearance
